Venetian Blind, 2019
The Venetian Blind project curated by Professor David Cross and Dr Cameron Bishop was a unique research project that brought together 23 Deakin researchers and HDR candidates to develop new knowledge in the field of temporary public art practice. Straddling a range of disciplines across creative arts, the participants worked collectively in teams to make an artwork or artworks in situ in Venice at the European Cultural Centre in conjunction with the 2019 Venice Biennale.
I worked alongside Jane Bartier, Dr. Rea Dennis and Dr. Misha Myers and together responded to the provocation called 'Coloured Stones'. Our collective response is grouped in the hashtag:
